Given our many current commitments, we won't be stepping back into the physical classroom anytime soon.

However, we still hold writing classes in our little bookstore and we genuinely believe that online coursework -- or distance learning as it's fashionably called these days -- has terrific potential.

Our next series of six-week in-house courses are scheduled to begin in mid-October. We are accepting applications now and will determine course composition based on our classmembers' interests. We limit class size to six participants, unless special arrangements are made.

Our offerings include:

• Beginning to Write,
• Sharpening Your Pen - A Review of Creative Techniques,
• Writing for Publication - Fiction,
• Writing for Publication - Non-Fiction,
• Recording Your Life - The Legacy of Autobiography, and
• Tutored English - American English for International Students.

Our two-hour in-house class sessions are divided into three segments:

The Lecture,

Discussion of Readings, and

Workshop - Discussion of Classmembers' Work.

We offer a library of class choices which we are currently developing into downloadable lessons featuring lectures and assignments. Because you'll be working one-on-one with an instructor, we'll design a lesson plan to meet your individual interests. Please write to us and let us know what you'd like to achieve. Applications for online coursework are currently being accepted for course sessions beginning in late October.
